Kilim Rug ANTK3

A very large, one-off, antique hand woven Kilim rug made using traditional flatweave techniques.

In good condition, no obvious areas of wear and no mends. Colour consistent with no areas of fading or discolouration. A tightly woven kilim in reds, browns, orange and fawn – at one end it has a couple areas of green but this is confined to one end only (picture 6).

Although in excellent condition, these rugs will have some of the idiosyncrasies of an aged, handmade artisan piece so small marks, slubs and signs of wear are to be expected and are an inherent part of their charm.
